Referencing Podcasts and TED talks

Podcast and archive TV programme

1. The required elements for a reference are:

Broadcaster/Author (Year) Programme title, Series Title. (if relevant) [type of medium] date of transmission. Available at: include web site address/URL (Uniform Resource Locator) [Accessed date].

Example: BBC (2013) One born: What Happened Next? Episode Eight, 4oD Weekly Podcast. [podcast] November 2013. Available at: < http://www.channel4.com/podcasts> [Accessed 10 November 2013].

TED talks
  1. The bibliographic details required are:
    1. Name of speaker (or speakers).
    2. Year the talk was given.
    3. Title given to the talk by TED.
    4. Month of upload (and year, if different to year the talk was given).
    5. The website host--enter ‘TED’ for all.
    6. URL.
    7. Date viewed.
